support pdf->png thumbnailing

I have a fork at http://github.com/jkebinger/atta... that has basic support for creating PNG thumbnails from PDFs. Useful if you want to create a document library of PDFs but also show previews.
It works now for rmagick (if you have ghostscript installed), and probably wouldn't be loads of work to make mini_magick work too. CoreImage would take some research, and I don't think gd2 would work at all.
Let me know if anyone is interested in this feature and I can spend some more time refactoring this to suck less :)
